COCONINO ESTATES IMPROVEMENTS PHASE I PROJECT COMPLETE
The City of Flagstaff and their contractor, Eagle Mountain Construction, have completed the Coconino Estates Improvements Phase I Project. The project included the replacement of the existing water, sewer and roadway infrastructure along sections of West Beal Road, North Navajo Drive, West Whipple Road, West Whiting Road, North Aztec Street and West Navajo Road (as shown in the map below). Additional improvements included the installation of sidewalks along sections of Navajo Road, Navajo Drive and Beal Road. These improvements have successfully upgraded the utilities that serve the neighborhood, reduced street maintenance costs and allowed stormwater to flow more efficiently. Additionally, the project has improved ride quality for local motorists, increased asphalt longevity and provided safer travel for pedestrians.
